The construction and implementation of our own biofuel heater will see NEO GROUP decrease the amount of gas consumed and save the company up to 2 million Euros. The state-of-the-art biofuel heater will decrease our consumption of natural gas by around 70% and also considerably decrease our emissions.
The new biofuel heater consists of two 10 MW boilers and will be used in the incredibly accurate manufacturing process of creating the raw material for plastics, PET resins.
In 2016, the major part of necessary energy was generated by burning biofuel. Replacement of natural gases by biofuel enabled us to decrease the emissions of greenhouse gases into atmosphere by 68%.
